Christian Louboutin’s renowned red sole consists of painting the leather sole with our special red lacquer. This lacquer wears out with use. This is not a manufacturing defect but normal wear and tear. The red soles on our shoes are fragile and must be tried on a clean carpeted surface.
The Miss Z collection and some specific flat shoes for women now feature an 'Everlasting Red sole' thanks to an innovative coating technique that ensures resistance and lasting vibrancy for our signature Louboutin red.

• Protect your leather goods from rain and moisture;
•Store your products away from light and heat;
• Keep the leather area clean and dry using a dry soft cloth of neutral color;

𠈪void contact with alcohol, grease or makeup;
•In order to avoid irreparable color migration, do not store your nude or light-colored items near a black or dark-colored one;
•Store your products individually in the Christian Louboutin dust bag provided or wrapped in white tissue paper.
